Great news for DCMM & June’s meeting space:
The ever fantastic HQ for National Public Radio has offered use of their conference room for our June media-makin’ meetup.
Big thanks to Andy Carvin for making this happen (of note, Andy recently launched NPR’s Get My Vote online video tool — which is dynamite — www.npr.org/getmyvote/).

- It’s media mashup time.
- This meetup – you are the media teachers and enthusiasts. So join us for a media making mashup where the #1 goal is to share enthusiasm and teach, learn, and teach some more your favorite media tools …and have a blast.
- The primary mission of DCMM is to learn & practice media literacy, certainly with video at the core of our suite of interests…but not limited to. There’s Qik, Utterz, live web casts, & more for online video and interactive media.
- So what’s your favorite tool and why? And would you show us how to use it?!
- Bring laptops & anything in your techi trunk you want to share.
- It’s mashup time…are you ready?!
“But what if I just want to observe and mind meld…”
