Some of you are aware that a few of us in DC have formed a team to enter this year’s 48 Film Project; this involves writing, casting, filming, and cutting a 7 minute short film in 48 hours over this coming weekend.
DC Media Makers is well represented with Jill producing it, Jonny directing, Ben editing, Scott director of photography, Gerry T. stoking the competetive fires, Melissa acting…and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Yeehaw!
Qualifying films will compete for audience-best awards and will screen at AFI’s Silver Theater, Silver Spring, next week. This is where you come in. The more we can pack the house with our friends, comrades, family members, and lovers (you know what category suits you best) the better chance we can win. But it’s not all about us—It’s gonna be a ton of fun with heaps of crazy little movies to entertain you.
Will you come out and support us? We’d love it.
